1. I predict an avalanche in western Canada within 30 days.

2. I regret to say that I anticipate another large earthquake to hit Sumatra within the next 7 days.

  1. Hi Blair! There are some predictions made by a holy monk in Agio Oros (Mount Athos) in Greece about the coming months. He predicted a war between Greece and Turkey which will lead to a more general conflict. I was wondering if you have anything to say about this.

  2. War? You said they’d come close…you didn’t say they would. My family is all in the US and I planned to travel in January. Would it be better to wait until February? I haven’t seen my familyin a year.

  3. #4: China/N. Korea War

I have an intuitive friend and yesterday she channeled it up and said–much to her shock–that what she heard was this war is very likely. If not now, within 18 months.

She said it seems China, Russia, and even Iran will ally and circumvent US’s stranglehold on power there. She said US influence in the world will diminish after this war, however physical and/or economic.

  4. Hi Blair, I can tell you that there will most likely be another war in Korea. However, don’t be surprised if it’s the Chinese who invade North Korea. Similar ideologies aside, there is nothing more the Chinese would love to do than get rid of the increasingly erratic and unstable Jong-Il dynasty and take over North Korea to reinforce regional stability on their terms, not those of the U.S. The Chinese has always considered North Korea to be a de facto province of theirs anyway. It’s an opportunity for China to show the world that they can take care of business in their own backyard and that the U.S. will no longer dictate policy in East Asia.

Also, the Russians will probably sit this one out hoping to play the U.S. and China off against each other. It’s an opportunity for the Russians to sit back and watch two of their historic enemies decimate each other while emerging unscathed as a leading regional power. Two birds/One stone.

Anyway, I hope you are wrong this time, but unfortunately I think you may be right.

  5. Loved the note about Leslie on your email this morning. Always struck me as someone who had a lot of fun and loved going into work in the morning. He’s someone I wish I had the opportunity to meet as well.

  6. 3. Expect delays over the holidays due to aircraft being grounded for safety concerns. While inconvenient, it is in everyone’s best interests!

Blair, you’re my boy, but on this prediction…
as they say in ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown – “Come on man!”

    Happy Holidays

  7. Well well – how about all of the holiday air traffic for Europe/UK??? I would say that you were right on the button yet again 🙂
