Guides Guide. Loved Ones Love.

When I speak to groups, one of the biggest ah-ha moments they have is the understanding of message “our guides guide and our loved ones love.”

Feeling Your Loved Ones Aren't There? Here's Why

Many people feel that their deceased loved ones have given up on them. They feel they aren't getting help/direction from them.

This is because the role our loved ones have in the afterlife is to simply love and encourage. It is not their role to guide us… that is the role of our spirit guides.

See the difference? Guides Guide Loved Ones Love.

Example: praying to your deceased mother to help you in a situation isn't going to happen. Doing so only causes you unnecessary frustration. Your guides, however, are standing by both ready and willing to help you.

Think of it this way. My nephew is in soccer right now. His coach is his guide. His job is to listen to the direction of the coach and the coach is to help him win. My job is to cheer my nephew on, give him love, encouragement and support. In other words, it is NOT my role to coach him.

  4. Yes !! After my father passed he would visit in dreams , he never gave advice but he did give me a feeling of love and I’m never alone. My grandmother visited me after she passed. I was distraught in my waking life. She approached me in my dream hugged me and said everything will be alright and then she left. I woke with the most relieved sense of well being.

It was filled peace warmth and so so much more. I often wonder if I went to him or he came to me. And I do feel him keeping me from eating the wrong things lol.

  10. I love your blogs. I have a ? My niece died in January, suicide by cops. She was more like a daughter to me; left behind 2 kids, 10 & 18. I’m overwhelmed with the “what-ifs” and WHY??? My question is do you have any suggestions on how to deal with these feelings? Thank-you for any feedback.

  11. Very interesting. A few days after my mother passed, I had an experience of being surrounded by an overpowering love. It was a most powerful experience, and it was her way of saying she is always there to love and support. But I seem to turn elsewhere for guidance. After reading something you wrote, I found the pendulum I used to use, and have been using that for guidance. My experience of the pendulum is asking and receiving answers, as well as experiencing the pendulum a few times, for a few moments, being filled with light. Thanks for explaining the difference. This is an ah-ha moment for me!

  12. Love your blog! I can’t wait to see you in Windsor, Ontario on April 30. Even if I don’t get a reading myself, I am looking forward to others’ being read. I am going to bring lots of kleenex because I always cry when I see someone else cry lol!

  15. I was taught we only pray to God, and no other idol’s. Because he is a jealous God. So when u say to pray to ur guides, i have stepped back. Im in non denominational Church. I know Catholics pray to a lot of different saints etc. And i don’t want make God mad.
