Does Your Life Suck? Change It With Help From Your Spirit Guides!

[featured-image size=”featured” single_newwindow=”false”]

“My life is MISERABLE,” she said to me in a dramatic tone this morning during our phone reading… Long story short: she hates her husband, as he's for the most part been emotionally abusive to her and has cheated on her (more than once). It's a much sadder story, but you get the gist.

“Leave. Get out. Stop complaining and take action,” I said.

What She Said Next Floored Me…

“I can't. He's rich and I'd lose my lifestyle.

I was *stunned*… not *much* stuns me, but that one did. But it gets better…

“Is my life going to get better,” she asked?

For a brief few seconds I was speechless. I almost thought this was a prank call. But she was serious.

“No. It's not. It's miserable and will continue to be so…” I said. “You'll be rich and miserable and you'll own it all.”

Yes. I DID say that. I'm as blunt as a 2×4 at times.

She was NOT happy and said so. She wanted me to give her ‘hope' things would magically get better.

MOST of my clients are willing and accepting of the direction spirit will lead them.

MOST of them take action with positive results.

But I do run across a few that are just looking to hear “happy-happy” predictions… essentially wanting me to lie to them.

I don't do that. I won't do that. Frankly, I can't.

It's okay to be stuck. It's okay to be in a lousy and painful situation. But it's not okay to wallow in your misery IF you aren't willing to take action.

Deal with it, or… deal with it!

Start. Anywhere. Right where you are now. Make changes, tough choices and move forward.

Spirit wants us each to live happy and fulfilled lives, so make the choices to make things that way.

But if you aren't willing to make changes, you're just going to have to get good at accepting things as they are. But whatever you do, stop complaining.

Ask Your Spirit Guides For Help And Strength

We all face tough times and bad breaks. All of us.

Some of us–myself included–really go down bad paths and get ourselves into bad messes.

It's okay. Getting stuck isn't a problem. Staying stuck IS.

But your spirit guides are there to help you, to guide you and get you OUT of bad situations and INTO good ones.

Ask your guides to give you strength to:

  • love yourself
  • value yourself
  • face up to negative people/situations
  • give you courage
  • give you faith

Is it really that simple, Blair? you may be asking…

Of course, it's MUCH easier said than done. But isn't everything in life?

I have no idea what my client was thinking, but I do know this: she valued money and how she looked to others over being happy. In her case, nothing is going to change for her. How terribly sad.

You deserve more, so go for it! Get your spirit guides working!

Post a comment below of a tough challenge/choice you made for the better. I'd love to hear it, and I'm sure other readers would too!

Love and light to you all.

I agree we choose our paths and if we go in the wrong direction we have choices to walk a different path. I to was in a bad relationship and I knew if I didn’t get out of it I would have no one to blame but myself. My motto is Hurt me once shame on you, hurt me twice shame on me. Thank you for being you.

LOVE it Terri! Good for you for being brave enough to change, as hard as that may have been!

I don’t understand negative people and those who wallow constantly in self pity. Yes I understand hard times, but YOU have to want to change your situation, no one else can do that for you. I too have been through horrible times, awful marriage breakup etc, but I had two choices, either sink or swim. Sinking would have been the easy choice, but there was no way I was going to sink to the bottom of an ocean, for anybody!
Thanks Blair, love you and everything you do, most esp your brutal honesty…never change 🙂

I kind of understand. Sometimes we make choices for our kids and survival as single moms but stay in a relationship that consists of work and housework with nothing to look forward to. You don’t have love, affection/intimacy or go out anywhere or on vacations. Life passes you by and then you die

Well all I can say is if you value the dollar more than peace of mind and happiness you have what you deserve. I think we all make the mistake of loving and trusting the wrong person at some time during our journey, but in order to make a change you have to love yourself first.

    Hey Blair
YES at one stage it did ‘Suck’…But I’m one of those boringly glass half full people. My bank had foreclosed on my mortgage, and first I knew about this was a letter saying the auction would be held on ‘this date’.
I stood there, clutching the letter and then asked for help. Send me someone to show me what I can do…to me it all appeared helpless. Your brain really does cease to function sometimes.
Anyway, the phone rang, the caller was the agent appointed from the bank who asked me ‘why are you letting this happen?’ I remember saying cause I have no choice. He stated I had a lot of equity and should contact a broker. The internet page came up with a list of brokers, and the first one I’d had dealings with. Long story short, he helped me save my home…I became a single, mortgage paying mum, and the main reason I didn’t stay with my husband was deceit. Trust is the biggest thing, and when its gone (not the first time) its gone.
Trust when you ask your guides for help that it WILL be given, kinda like the parking Angels 😉 The best thing to come out of the breakdown of my relationship was my songwriting ability improved…now I’m believing with the approaching job loss coming my way…it MUST be time to make money from music!

It is easy to judge others and say what you would or what they should do.

I think you have missed the point of lesson here. The woman asked for advice and didn’t want to take it.

If you asked me if you should brush your teeth every day I would certainly say you should or your teeth will fall out. But if you reply you have no intention of doing so, then you need to prepare yourself that your teeth are going to fall out. There’s no magic there. It’s not hard stuff.

If this woman is only staying in this marriage for the money. she must like the way her husband treats her. a lot of times abuse starts with mental abuse then he starts to hit her or he starts cheating
the question she should be asking herself should I leave now before something else happens. but if she is staying for the money she sounds like she would stay if things got worse,
I don’t feel sorry for her because she thinks money brings her happiness
if that was me I would have just left and divorced him. then I would find a nice guy who loved and respects me and treats me good, I would give him all my love

Wonder why the lady would just take an stash some of the money(spouse does not need to know) then start by going to some counseling for herself, an eventually start a new life for herself?
Do you think maybe some people just like living in miserable situations? Like they just feed off of others misery? I don’t know?
But I do agree if she ask for help from her spirit guides an God, am sure they will help her.
I think it is very hard for some people to recover from abusive relationships, I know my daughter is a bit damaged from one. sad!

I DO believe some people like drama and misery. It’s certainly one choice.

    Hi Blair
When my husband passed I made the choice to resign from my 55k a year job that kept me away on a rotating shift, to find a 15k a year straight day job in order to be home more for my son. Financially I didn’t know if I could manage but I had no doubts that it was what needed to be done. That led me to fulfilling a life dream and returning to school….still home for my son. We have what we need. And like the saying…”to be happy is to want what you have, not have what you want”. I am certain my guides are leading me. Because everything works out and we always have what is needed.

Below are really nice and warm fuzzy stories, and I totally get what you are all saying !!!
Have you just ever heard of someone being stuck, not everyone has friends or family to help you out, when you just don’t have the finances to do what you really want to do to improve or escape a bad or sad and lonely situation !!! Do you honestly think a person stays because they enjoy misery, think again !!! It may just be its a step up from previous relationships, whether thats a childhood home life or a different relationship. It is what it is, some pray , beg for a different lifestyle, a new start, and for whatever reason its just not happening. . . What would you suggest that person do??? Go live under a bridge, on the street??? Seriously people everything is just not so cut and dry. . .

More of a question than a comment. What is the difference between connecting with your guides and connecting with your higher self?
Thank you for all you do!!

How do you know what = you are dealing with, as there are demonic entities as well? They may not all be benevolent. I have heard of possessions and hauntings when people get involved with Spirit Guides etc. Be careful people!

I have talked to my spirits alot lately and i just seem to be happier. Even though my life isnt perfect and never will be, just being able to speak to someone like the spirits help. I wish I could hear them! I need to learn to connect to them.

I was packing my car for a long trip, 1100 miles, to Florida, to be with my childhood sweetheart. I wasn’t sure I should go, there were problems surrounding our relationship. While I was loading the car I was having a mental conversation with my (deceased) husband. On my last trip to the car, I asked him for a sign that said it was good that I go. As I walked up my porch steps there, at my feet, was a brand new shiny penny. That was my sign. As it turned out, my “friend” needed me, he had lung cancer and he needed me to help him get through it. Long story short, he died. It’s painful for me, but I am grateful for the short time we had together and that I was able to help him when he needed me most. After his death, my husband would leave me pennies in odd places just to let me know that he’s around me, his very last penny was that shiny one on the steps, there haven’t been anymore since. He was my spirit guide when I needed him most.
