When I heard the news of Whitney Houston passing I thought it had to be a joke… one of those stupid Twitter hoaxes.
Wrong. It was very real. And my heart sank.
One of my first concerts I went to as a teenager was… Whitney Houston (way in the back and long before big screens…)
I predict stuff that I often HOPE and PRAY doesn’t come true. This was one of them.
I had sincerely hoped that it would at the worst only be a hospitalization, not her passing.
She had the voice of an angel. Amazing.
The media will demonize her. The drugs. The bad choices. How she lost her voice. How thin she was a few years back.
We all have demons. Some of us worse than others…
I like to think of her amazing accomplishments.
She will be greatly missed. I pray for her daughter and her loved ones.

indeed the news of her passing was very sad. Like you said she had a voice of an angel. She obvious like you said fighting alot demons. But the voice was spectacular. I remember trying emulate her voice ,gosh she will be missed. I will miss her to this day I am singing her song there was so much heart and passion . I just can’t. Believe. An here we go again your prediction Of a musician passing right on the money.wow Blair your awesome.wow.

It is such an extreme loss losing Whitney. I hate that all I am seeing is speculation that drugs did her in. I know she had demons and drug were in her past but I would rather think of her not doing herself in yesterday. But I guess we will all find out in the coming days.

I was in disbelief when i first heard that she had died. Such a beautiful woman, with an angelic voice. She will be missed immensly. You did predict a musicians death. Thanks, Blair
