Earlier today a 7.4 earthquake hit the Northern Island of Sumatra, as predicted by psychic Blair Robertson on May 3rd.

Blair Robertson does not claim to be 100% accurate, and in this case he was off by two days.

Polish President Plane Crash Predicted

April 11, 2010 2 comments

On January 2nd, 2010 Sun Media published Blair Robertson’s psychic predictions.

While most predictions were regarding Canadian politics, one prediction stood out: “Robertson also predicts a major political leader will die in a plane crash, although he doesn’t know if it will be a Canadian.”

Tragically, on April 10th, 2010 a plane crashed in Russia killing all 96 passengers including Polish President Lech Kaczynski.

Blair Robertson has an uncanny record of accurate predictions. He claims no supernatural powers.

Tiger Woods Will Win Masters, Psychic Predicts

April 5, 2010 2 comments

“Tiger Woods will win the masters,” predicts psychic Blair Robertson, a man with an amazing record of accurate predictions.

In November 2009, Robertson predicted that Tiger would be involved in an accident and would also have trouble with women. Days later, Tiger Woods crashed his car and has been linked to a dozen mistresses.

Upon Tiger’s announcement self-imposed hiatus from golfing, Blair Robertson immediately predicted he would return in 2010, although he admits he was off by two months.

“I get the impression that this could very well be his greatest victory,” says Robertson. “He thrives under pressure and obviously the world will be watching him with even greater interest now.”

While Robertson claims no supernatural powers, he admits he’s often just as amazed as everyone else at his record of predictions. Past predictions have included Washington’s record breaking snowfall “snowmaggedon”, the April 4th earthquake in California, and the mine disaster in China.

Each week Blair Robertson posts his predictions on his blog.

Here’s a brief video I put together that shows you how!

8 Ways To Great Days

February 4, 2010 No comments yet

If you need a little help on the way to success, try these eight steps. Although there is no such thing as instant success, research in peak performance has uncovered working techniques common to any high-achiever. Success is predictable. I’m committed to the belief that you can have more than what you have, because you can be more than what you are. You can be a better you.

The time-honored principles here may seem over simplified because they’ve been put together in a rhyming and memorable form. But don’t misjudge their power. If you choose to use them, you’ll reap a harvest of achievement far outweighing your efforts.

1. In a hole? Set a goal: All you’ve heard about setting goals is true. Goals equal success. Success equals goals. If you are not satisfied with where you are, don’t run off in just any direction hoping things will work out for you. Decide what you want. (The Principle of “clear and simple intention” will work for you) Be specific and write it down. It’s easier to get where you are going when you have a map.

2. Who you see is who you’ll be: Losers live life from the outside in, while winners live life from the inside out. Everything ever achieved was first seen in someone’s mind. Get a clear vision of what you will be like when you have achieved your goal. See the colors and the surroundings in your mind’s eye. It has to become vivid on the inside before it becomes reality on the outside.

3. At the start, play the part: An old adage says, “Play the part and you shall become.” Once you see yourself as having already achieved what you want, it should be easy to act as though you already have it. This is not being phony or lying. We’re not talking about acting as if you are someone you aren’t, rather it is performing at maximum levels. Be what you can be – and you will be.

4. Take choice over the inner voice: Something in all of us wants to do what’s convenient rather than what’s necessary, to be negative rather than positive. The voice inside you will tell you why you can’t achieve your goal and why you don’t deserve it. You must choose to believe what you really want. Have the courage to embrace the greatness for which you were born.

5. Don’t debate, find what’s great: Don’t bother arguing or trying to defend yourself when things don’t go right. Look for the silver lining in every cloud. Every adversity contains the seed of at least an equal blessing. This can be tough to remember in the middle of the storm. But if you waste energy trying to stop the rain, you’ll completely miss the rainbow, and maybe not even be around to enjoy the flowers.

6. After falling down, go one more round: Resilience – the ability to bounce back – is a good quality to cultivate. Successful people don’t talk about failure, but use the words, “setback” or “challenge.” If you are not falling down from time to time, you’d better take another look at your goals. You might be living too far within your comfort zone. You might need to reach higher. One definition for success is, “Fall seven times, get up eight!”

7. For super style, live in the now: You are working toward your future. But true success is the progressive realization of a worthwhile goal or dream. Don’t overlook the joys of today. And remember, guilt is the gift that keeps on giving. The past is past. Never allow your future to become a prisoner to the tyranny of the past. Wherever you are, be there!

8. Going all out will give you clout: Enthusiasm is a powerful force. Be sure you are moving toward something you really want, love and can be excited about. Whatever you do, do it with all your might. Let your goal put a fire in your belly and a lion in your heart. Live your life with passion.

Friggatriskaidekaphobia: How To Easily Eliminate The Fear Of Friday The 13th

November 13, 2009 8 comments

Scary date of Friday 13thFriggatriskaidekaphobia–a huge word that is terrifying in itself–is defined as having a morbid fear of Friday the 13th (as opposed to triskaidekaphobia, which is the fear of the number 13).

Many people are so absolutely paralyzed by fear and won’t fly, drive, or even leave the house.

Many famous people were afraid of the number 13.

Napoleon avoided it like the plague.

US President Hoover didn’t like it.

Franklin D. Roosevelt wouldn’t travel on the 13th, wouldn’t have 13 dinner guests.

Henry Ford would not do business on Friday the 13th.

Where Did All Of This Start, Anyway?

Here’s the weirdest part of Friggatriskaidekaphobia: Nobody seems to know where this all started. I have no idea where this superstition comes from… I’m IN this business!

We do know that the fear of Friday the 13th started to become mainstream popular in the 1950′s. The fear of the number 13 started in the early 1900′s.

But WHY?

I don’t know. And when I ask people, I get vague answers like “it’s a bad luck day.”

Okay. WHY?

I actually think it’s a lucky day.

I figure that with so many avoiding travel that it’s a perfect day for a drive or to fly somewhere. Not to mention that it is statistically safer to travel when there are less people around to get into an accident with!

Friggatriskaidekaphobia: Is It Self Hypnosis?

You attract to yourself what you think about most.

If you are a positive thinker, positive things seem to happen all the time.

If you are negative thinker, negative things seem to happen. All the time.

You can change your internal thinking easily, just by changing your focus.

Given that there appears to be no rational reason for the fear of Friday the 13th why not focus on making Friday the 13th the best day you’ve ever had?

Why not say to yourself “Something really positive is going to happen to me today?”

Go ahead and have FUN with it! Think about the fact that if millions of people stay home… the roads will be much safer… lineups will be much shorter… you’ll be able to get more done…

By focusing on the positives and expecting the best out of your day, you’ll find that good things will start “appearing” all around you.

Let me be clear about something, though. Those positive things have always been there, you just haven’t noticed them. By turning your focus towards the positive, you’ll attract success to yourself.

It just takes a bit of practice, that’s all. Try it–today–and amaze yourself. Make Friday the 13th YOUR lucky day!

High School Hypnotist Provides Safe, Clean, And Hilarious Motivation To Students

Nobody understands school spirit like high school hypnotist Blair Robertson. Not only did he get to experience the effects of a hilarious show on his own school, he lived the positive aftermath of motivation a high school hypnotist could bring.

You see, all Blair Robertson wanted to be was a magician in high school. He’d perform his comedy magic and mindreading at assemblies. Eventually, he ran out of tricks and stunts to do and his mentor suggested doing a hypnosis show.

Robertson didn’t believe in hypnosis, but wanted to perform badly. So he gave it a try and was astonished at the thunderous laughter it brought. The young high school hypnotist wowed the crowd and was walking on air after the show.

The following day was business as usual, or so he thought. The school was raving about it, and the students who participated in the show. To Robertson’s amazement, the school talked and joked about it for months after. He knew he had found his niche.

“A high school hypnotist needs to have a clean show and a clear understanding of what he is delivering. The show is NOT about hypnosis, it is about entertainment and building school spirit,” says Robertson. “The secret to my success has been that I have focused on making the volunteers the stars and not me. The formula has been working wonderfully for over 28 years.”

Since his first show in 1983, high school hypnotist Blair Robertson has entertained over 1500 schools. Add in his corporate work, he’s performed over 2500 shows worldwide.

“I love corporate work. No doubt about it. But there’s nothing like a crowd of high school students. They are lively, fun, and outrageously energetic. They are, without a doubt, the best volunteers I get and the best audiences to work for.”

Company Christmas Party Ideas

October 1, 2009 1 comment

Looking for the perfect company Christmas party idea? Here’s one that will make your party a huge success (and it’s easy too)…

Are you dreading coming up with the perfect company Christmas party idea? Struggling to come up with something different that everyone at the office will actually enjoy? Something they’ll actually turn up for? Well, your Christmas party planning just got easier!

Corporate hypnotist and Mindreader Blair Robertson has been entertaining at Christmas parties for years and offers these company Christmas party idea tips:

Keep it simple. Don’t get bogged down with too many details. You’ll have enough on your plate the night of the event. Keep everything as simple as possible.

Keep it focused. The biggest Christmas party-planning mistake I hear about is spending time and money on things that don’t really matter. Going overboard on decorations for example. People don’t remember the decorations; they remember the fun and social part most.

Keep it in budget. Know your budget clearly beforehand. You’ll save yourself time and trouble. Calling up venues, entertainment, and caterers without knowing your budget wastes both your time and theirs. If you don’t want to reveal your budget, that’s fine. But know it.

Keep it upbeat. Holiday parties are not the time for the CEO’s to make long speeches. The party is to celebrate the holiday. Keep it upbeat. All presentations should be short, brief and upbeat.

Keep it fun. As a committee, find out what your company wants entertainment wise. Bands, DJ’s, Comedians, Murder Mystery? Find out. Try to stay away from the same-old and worn-out events.

What is the perfect Company Christmas Party Idea?

A stage hypnotist or Mindreader is unique, different and upbeat as well as being easy and simple to book. A show that will bring fits of laughter, make the event long remembered and… requires very little effort to present.

Ontario Hypnotist Celebrates 26 Years Of Performing

September 2, 2008 No comments yet

When Ottawa Ontario hypnotist and mindreader Blair Robertson stepped onto the stage at Carleton University, it marked his 17th year of performing at the University and his 26th year of performing as a stage hypnotist.

“I’m doing what I love,” he says, noting that most people go through life doing jobs that they dislike just to make a living.

The show lasted two-hours, the first half featuring incredible feats of mind reading. He told audience members to think of personal thoughts and then started calling out names, dates, places… and even told one young lady that her first pet was a Golden Retriever named “Molson”. Robertson went on to give funny explanations that he has been given as to how he does it, from hidden cameras to mind x-ray machines.

He then invited 40 members of the audience to participate in an outrageously funny hypnosis show that was clean and tasteful.

“They bring me in every year because I only do clean material that doesn’t offend,” says Robertson. He points out that he has nothing against “blue material” performers, he just chooses to be clean.

“Years ago, if you wanted to be different, you did a dirty show. Today, I’m ‘unique’ because my show is clean! Weird, isn’t it?” he says laughingly.

He’s not limited to performing in Ontario. Hypnotist Blair Robertson has been around the world with his talent recently performing in New Zealand for a private corporation as well as a private home.

How long will he perform for? “As long as there are audiences that want to see me,” he says.

Ontario Hypnotist Blair Robertson is available through his website.
