A. No, I don’t see it happening, but I do feel that you once you go through a short mourning period you’ll meet someone who will utterly take your breath away. Your ex is a good guy and played a good role in your life, but it appears that chapter is now finished. Time to move on.

A. He might not like the answer, but he needs to just get himself into motion. One of my favorite expressions is “motion beats meditation.” Right now I sense he’s just spiraling down and is feeling worthless simply because… he isn’t working. He needs to get himself into ANYTHING at the moment to regain his self-worth. Anything, okay? Flip burgers if need be. He won’t enjoy that, but he’ll regain that self-worth and feel meaningful and be in motion. He’ll be fine down the road.

I was wondering whether you sense my ex and father of my children staying in Canada or going back to the USA in the next few months? A. There’s definitely a pull to the U.S. and I’m sensing an internal struggle. Wow. Sometimes stuff comes really clear to me but I’m calling this one at around a 50/50 chance. He’s truly torn. I don’t mess with kids, btw. Ever. I’d get some professional psychological advice on that one. Kids need to know that they are loved unconditionally and that a parent will always be there for them. Sorry. Wish I could be more helpful but please get a professional opinion on how to handle it.

Q. Hi Blair, I’m always amazed at how confident you sound, on both Hot 89.9 and your website. I have visited several psychics in the past (individually, and at psychic fairs), and am addicted to horoscopes (I read several sites regularly), but I have yet to experience a real “wow” moment that relates back to my. All have been very vague and can be applied across the board (finance, health, relationships, etc.) But something is drawing me to you, so my question is this: I am single, have much to be thankful for, and have been successful (relatively speaking) in much that I do, but will I finally find someone in the near future to fill that one gap? A. Thanks very much. A lot of psychics are vague, unfortunately, and I don’t know why. I prefer to be specific or just confess that I don’t know. I dunno, it just seems more “right” to me and certainly more honest. In defence of my own horosocopes, they are indeed general. The only way to get a laser-targeted horoscope is to draft one up based on your personal date of birth, the time of birth and your location. THAT would be more accurate. Otherwise, enjoy your addiction knowing two things: a lot of newspaper ones are utter b.s. and mine are simply “general.” You will meet someone special in the upcoming year, a relationship that will develop slow but steady. Mark that down, because it will happen!

A. Well, it’s refreshing to see a man who has the guts to admit his mistakes, big as they were. You are further ahead simply for that. But just like a nasty spaghetti stain, it’s not going to easily vanish. You’ve got a LOT of work ahead of you, but you know that. You’ll have to ride through a long time of low-trust and you’re on really thin ice at the moment. She loves you, is a great woman and is worth the effort. You’re making a great decision to work on it and I applaud you. But make no mistake, it’s going to be a tough road.

A. Nic, it is your “need” that is pushing women away. What is weird here is that you are a good guy but have lost confidence by striking out a few times. Believe it or not, you’re just millimeters away from a change in your life and it will happen when you shake off the past and become confident in yourself again. Change your attitude from “needing a woman” to believing in yourself and thinking about what you can “give” to a relationship and you’ll be the most attractive dude on the block. It’s all in your head, and once you make that shift, it will happen.

A. Thanks for the nice comments. I sense the both of you have almost given up, so it would seem that you are headed to divorce. But “almost” is the operative word here. The future is not set in stone. It never is. Right now, you’ll end up divorced. But I’m frustrated writing this because there’s still a really, really small flame there that hasn’t burnt out… I’d recommend looking within and asking if this is what you really want? If you don’t really want to divorce, then fight for what you want. Sorry, but this is a frustrating feeling I’m getting and there is no yes/no answer for this one.

A. Thanks. More will be leaving. It’s getting ugly in the White House. I feel it’s too soon to tell at the moment regarding the relationship. It’s like planting a seed and then checking the next day to see if it’s growing or not. Take a bit more time. I am having trouble deciding on two schools; The first school has a great reputation across the globe however, it’s obviously a lot more expensive and quite honestly, there’s nothing challenging about this said “institute”. I’ve stayed with them for a year and honestly, haven’t learn at all. The second school to my option sounds a lot more credible and is indeed cheaper. Question is, in which school may I achieve more for my future? Pia

A. Yes, you are psychic and a strong one at that. Your fears are unfounded. You’re believing in old-wives-tales about it. It’s harmless and completely unlike those scary movies and Stephen King type books (which are great, btw). It’s natural and quite fun once you get the hang of it.
Q. We were also in the Cantebury earthquake in NZ and are wondering if we are in the right place at the moment, we have been thinking about moving to a safer place where there are no fault lines, what do you think? thanks Joanne
A. Well, the answer is this: you live on a fault line. You don’t need a psychic to tell you that eventually a quake is going to hit again. There’s not a week that goes by that I don’t get emails from people in California who live on the San Andreas fault line. Will there be quakes? Of course! When, I don’t know at this second. I publish them as I sense them… So, to answer your question, I refrain from telling people what to do. If you are uncomfortable there, then it would seem you should move to where you are comfortable. Would *I* live on a fault line? No way. But that’s just me. I hope that helps in some way.

A. Thank you. I’m glad to know that I give comfort! Well, a relationship is a two-way street. I feel you’ve been giving a lot and are not getting the same amount back. Unfortunately, I feel you need to confront him (in a kind way) and ask him point-blank what the heck is going on. I am getting a psychic block so I am not seeing anything at all, so it’s up to you to find out. But that said, you’ve got a “loser” mentality right now and you’ve got to shake that off! I’m feeling quite angry about it because you are beating yourself up for NO reason. You do NOT need me, or anyone else for that matter! Get out a piece of paper and write “Gratitude” on the top and then force yourself to write out all the things in your life that are going good. After 16 years together, sadly, my husband and I have recently separated. We have two small children ages 3 and 6. A. I believe that you should go for it. Do it for the fun, not the money. Your stories will bring joy to many and in doing so, joy to yourselves.

A. The answer is in your question. Bad boys treat women like crap. That’s “what they do!” Solution: hook up with someone nice, kind and caring and you’ll fare much better. Hold yourself to a higher standard and it will happen very quickly. The moment you do so, I predict you’ll be in a good relationship within 5 months. But you’ve got to make that first step. You deserve it!

Q. Blair, I am your long time reader and have followed your blog for a while. I subscribed to your 3-Question MP3 reading in June about finding a job. You mentioned the opportunity will appear in Sep/Oct. Since then, I have applied for jobs proactively, spoken with potential recruiters and received positive interview feedback. Unfortunately none of these interviews had resulted into job opportunities. Several recruiters apologized saying their positions had changed and could no longer hire me. A. Thank you very much. Congrats on being proactive–that’s what you need to do. But you are too impatient. October has yet to come and I hold firm to that premonition. “What went wrong in my life,” and “desperate” are terrible, terrible expressions to use! They are self-defeating, self-limiting and negative. You MUST rise above that to succeed. It’s not an option. What pains me to say–but I’ll say it anyway–is that you have no legitimate reason to bitch and complain. So stop whining. You are a good solid person who deserves much. But it’s NOT going to get handed to you. You need to get out there and shake that tree.

A. I’m deeply sorry to hear that, I cannot imagine how painful that must be. But I am not God and can’t answer for you. I will say this, though. I have a friend who lost a child in the same manner. She has two more that are happy and healthy. She is an inspiration to me, her family and her friends. She sees life in a whole new way and just shines like a diamond. Through her loss, she has touched others. Your daughter will be the same.

A. I’m glad you found me too and am glad that you are okay! I think it’s a miracle that nobody was killed in that earthquake, so while it’s terrible about the damage, the good news is you are… alive!
