Q. Will my dream to open my own charity come true will I be able to help many kids in the world? Will my 3 babies be healthy and safe in their life. Ms. Z
A. Yes. Start formulating a business plan now. Yes.
Q. I am caught between 2 guys one to whom i have been with for almost 7 years, but the love is kinda lost for him. He works away all week and i work shift work so we only see each other 6 days a month. and one who is just a shoulder to cry on when I’m lonely. I have feelings for both but don’t know what to do. I have a 3 year old son with the first one and feel i only stay because he is the father of my son. I guess i am afraid to be alone as i don’t know if the friend has feelings for me. or even if it would work out between us in the long run. Im so tired and frustrated of being lonely all the time. And now were going to be renting my parents house and i’m so afraid i won’t be able to afford it. AHHHHHHHH. What do I do.
A. You can’t have your cake and eat it too. You had something. You have something. But you’ve allowed yourselves to drift apart. He is a good man and a good Father. Talk. Go to marriage counseling. There is still a chance. Lose the “friend.”
Q. My dad recently got diagnosed with an odd disease and it’s been a rough couple months sorting it out. Will he be ok soon? I’ve also spent two years on and off with a guy whom I’m crazy about. hes got problems committing. I’d like to know if and when he’s going to or if I need to let this one go?
A. I can’t give medical advice, but I feel he’ll make it through in spite of the challenges. Bluntly, after two years it’s time to poop or get off the pot. But it rests in your hands. You need to convey this to him clearly.
Q. I have a very well-paying and secure job, but do not feel passionate about this work anymore. This job also involves an hour commute to work each way, of which I am quickly tiring. I really want to move on to new work experiences (hopefully closer to home and more in line with my passions), but worry about leaving a secure job – especially because we just bought a house. I have also seen very few jobs for which I would qualify that pay anywhere near what I am getting paid now. Will I leave my current job anytime soon, or should I focus on being more satisfied with in my current position? L. M.
A. You have so much potential and yet you don’t see it! You’ve chosen to survive rather than thrive. I believe your boss will help you, if you’ll only express your need for a greater challenge. And your 1-hour commute? Slide in upbeat and motivational recordings there and back! Turn your commute into a “University On Wheels.” Do this, and you’ll not only surprise yourself, but your loved ones and co-workers will be blown away.

A. Yes. But you’ll have to work hard to earn it and invest it.
Q. Was my dog murdered, or attacked by another animal? His bones were discovered scattered up in Muskoka near our cottage. John M.
A. Neither. He passed peacefully. I feel for you, as my dog is unwell. But rest assured, he’s in a better place.
Q. I am currently talking to a guy who is three years younger than I am. Do you see us being together in the future? Miss. T.
A. It’s too early to tell. It has potential, so I would encourage you to explore it. But you are also interested in someone else and that can cause conflict.
Q. Will I marry again? E.J.
A. Yes, but don’t be in a rush.
Q. My wife and I are having our first child in November. Will it be a boy or a girl? My father passed away in June, is he going to be my child’s guardian angel? Marc L.
A. Congratulations. I sense a girl, but it’s not clear. Yes, and you’ve seen signs already.
Q. Will my boyfriend leave me for someone else? I’ll die without him! How can I make him stay? Miss T.C.
A. Unfortunately, yes. But you know that, because he’s cheated on your before. You won’t die, you will thrive. You deserve better, and there is a man out there who needs you and will love and RESPECT you. Have faith.
Q. I have two years left before retirement and would like to start a business but am not sure what to start. I have many hobbies and have a difficult time deciding what would be a lucrative business. Do I go back to school and get specific training? Such as gardening? or vermiculture / composting? Tiffany glass design? D.L.
A. I believe that you have a lot of knowledge that people would not only welcome, but pay for. I can see you being happy with a small sideline and helping others at the same time. Your difficulty will be picking which one, but that’s a delightful problem to have!
Q. Does my district manager think highly about me? Does she feel I have a strong work ethic? Does she have future plans for me? S.D.
A. Yes. Yes. Yes.

A. I believe you will!!!!
Q. My stepson is a bum. Will he ever get off (his behind) and get a job?
A. Frankly, your attitude is contributing to the problem. He needs help and direction and you are anything but a good role model at the moment. You had the guts to ask me my impression and you got it straight. Mark my words, help him and you’ll not only be appreciated by him more (and get him on his way), your relationship with your wife will deepen to a depth you simply can’t believe. Be part of the solution.
Q. My friend’s daughter ran away from home. They’ve filed a missing persons case with the police. Can you locate her? Mr. J.G.M.
A. Sir. I wish I could. Unfortunately I don’t have that gift. I’m sorry and pray for the best.
Q. Will the Toronto Maple Leafs EVER win the Stanley Cup? When? Mike R.

Blair, this is a great thing you’re doing. Love reading these Q&A’s however, and I say this with no intention to offend or bother, in all sincerity sometimes it feels like instead of saying you don’t know, you provide personal common sense opinions more than psychic insight!
I’m not saying at ALL that I don’t trust your judgement or gift because obviously without a doubt you have a gift. I just hate to see people dissapointed with those kinds of answers, especially the “I don’t know, or, can’t say” answers.
In any case, it’s just friendly advice, I still LOVE this section and think it’s a fantastic service. Thank you and I hope I get lucky next week and you choose my question, as it’s killing me not knowing what to do, so much it’s affecting my health.

Well I am Ms Z and I want to thank you so much for your reply it means the world to me may god bless you with health and happiness always for helping out so many people including me I have always dreamed of opening my own charity for children that deserve much more in this life I always say they never asked to come here we as parents need to build and guide them the best way possible so my mission is to help all the children in the world that I can as many as possible. Hi Blair,
this is LM. I was so excited to see that you answered my question this week! Thank you!! I have already talked to my boss and you were right – she was very supportive. All I had to do was ask! I have also started to turn my bumper-to-bumper hour into a relaxing, motivational retreat. May as well make the best of it – at least until something in the East end comes up. Thanks for the suggestion.

Like Doug I found the questions and answers very interesting and it has certainly helped me frame my questions. Thank you for making this available and providing us with a chance to get a ‘free question’. I also appreciate the fact that you provide good and not so good news and honestly admit to not ‘seeing or knowing’ as the case may be.
