2012 Academy Award Oscar Predictions

Posted on February 21, 2012

Who will win at the 2012 Academy Awards on Sunday?

Using time-projected empathy, I have peered into the future to bring you the main winners of the 2012 Academy Awards! Will I be 100% accurate like last year? We’ll have to see!

Here are my personal predictions…

“…and the Oscar goes to…”

Best Actor: I predict that the best actor this year will be Jean Dujardin.

Best Actress: I fearlessly predict that Viola Davis will win best actress.

Best Supporting Actor: I predict that Christopher Plummer will win as best supporting actor.

Best Supporting Actress:  Octavia Spencer will go home with a coveted Oscar.

Best Picture: I fearlessly predict that The ARTIST will win best picture!

I agree with Brenda. Christopher Plummer was absolutely brilliant in that movie. I believe it is his best role ever. I also would have liked to see
Glenn Close win because her role in ALbert Nobbs was extraordinary.

The last good movie I saw was War Horse! My husband and I took my Mom, who was born in 1914,to see it with us. We all fell in love with ‘Joey’, the beautiful countryside and enjoyed the realistic depiction of the battle conditions of that time frame. It is Steven Spielberg at his best!

I hate to say it but I don’t even know who a couple of those actors are, living and working a farm we dont get out much and see movies and we dont have alot of TV time left a the end of the day so we watch about an hours worth of “Dead files” or “paranormal state” or my favorite “Ancient Aliens”. I’m thinking that I may know who the actors are that you predicted would win the Oscars if I google a picture of them :) .

Quick question Blair: What are your thoughts or predictions on Aliens both Ancient and current?

Have not seen any of them – but hope that somewhere Christopher Plummer gets the recognition he deserves – from the time he affected my heart when he was Von Tropp in The Sound of Music I was ‘in love’ – lol – he is a brilliant actor and an amazingly magnetic human being – good luck to them all
