  • Catherine Baker

I agree with Brenda. Christopher Plummer was absolutely brilliant in that movie. I believe it is his best role ever. I also would have liked to see
Glenn Close win because her role in ALbert Nobbs was extraordinary.

  • Connie

I’m way behind….I’m going to have to look to see who these people are and what movies that are in. Thanks Blair :)

  • Mary

The last good movie I saw was War Horse! My husband and I took my Mom, who was born in 1914,to see it with us. We all fell in love with ‘Joey’, the beautiful countryside and enjoyed the realistic depiction of the battle conditions of that time frame. It is Steven Spielberg at his best!

    • Mary

Good job Blair! I guess The Artist will be the movie we’ll see next! Keep up the good work! :0)

  • Tammie

I hate to say it but I don’t even know who a couple of those actors are, living and working a farm we dont get out much and see movies and we dont have alot of TV time left a the end of the day so we watch about an hours worth of “Dead files” or “paranormal state” or my favorite “Ancient Aliens”. I’m thinking that I may know who the actors are that you predicted would win the Oscars if I google a picture of them :).

Quick question Blair: What are your thoughts or predictions on Aliens both Ancient and current?

  • Samantha

That’s for ur predictions! I hope! They have always been fun to read! Since I will not be watching the award shows I will have to find out after they al win but hopefully I’ll know before they win that they won now :)

  • Agnes

Looking forward to sunday. Sure hope this becomes reality for all those actors!!!
Thanks Blair for your predictions! :-)

    • Fenton

You were right on last year. Nice if it happens again!!
      Thanks Blair

  • carmilla

what a shame that you waste your talent on predictiing this type of stuff.
people – go to Vine predictions 2012 she is an amazing person not seeking celebrity status, and she does not require constant feedback or praise to feed her ego – check it out for yourself Blair, you’ll be impressed.

    • Wallaby

Really? She isn’t feeding her ego? Not looking for praise? [link deleted]

      • Blair Robertson

I understand you wanting to “defend” me, Wallaby, and appreciate your intent, but just let the negative folks be. Not worth the time or energy, imho. :-)

  • Liz Raboin

I wish Brad Pitt would win an award either for Moneyball or Tree of Life.

  • Coral Briscoe

Have not seen any of them – but hope that somewhere Christopher Plummer gets the recognition he deserves – from the time he affected my heart when he was Von Tropp in The Sound of Music I was ‘in love’ – lol – he is a brilliant actor and an amazingly magnetic human being – good luck to them all

  • Neph

    I hope Viola wins…

  • Brooke

Close – Viola barely lost. Nice work!
