Blair Robertson 2008 Predictions:
I work primarily as an entertainer. During my shows, I read the minds of members of the audience. At the end of my shows, I make verbal predictions of the upcoming months ahead. This portion of the show has garnered me a strong reputation, although I only present it for entertainment… fun!
Over the years I have made many predictions with the media–mainly political predictions–earning me the moniker of “Canada’s Psychic Pundit”.
For the first time ever–I am sticking my neck out and predicting a few worldwide events that will take place in 2008.
Note: Just as a weatherman predicts things that they may not particularly wish to see happen, the following predictions are only as I have seen them. While I am typically 85% correct, I sincerely hope that several of the following do NOT come true. Although some predictions are admittedly ‘dark’, these predictions are provided as entertainment only.
2008 will be remembered at ‘The Year Of The Assassin’. The largest amount of assassinations and assassin attempts will occur in September 2008.
Rudi Giuliani will be elected US President; John McCain will be Vice President.
Fidel Castro will die in January 2008.
Facebook will suffer a major security breach and will be forced to shutdown early spring. Class action lawsuit regarding privacy violations to follow soon after.
Apple will introduce revolutionary flash computers at their January launch available in March. Apple’s market share will increase at least 3 percent in 2008.
2008 will see business improving overall. The stock market will see a slow but steady increase starting in February. Most notably, as older CEO’s retire, they will be replaced with much younger CEO’s with fresher and more unique approaches to growing business.
Hurricane Gustav will hit Florida mid-September resulting in approximately 50 deaths.
Major floods will occur in August with an emphasis on Indonesia being hardest hit.
An extremely large tornado will hit Kansas in May resulting in devastating property loss but remarkably few lives lost in ratio to the destruction.
Japan will be rocked by several major earthquakes, the most significant being in December with a magnitude of 8+
A brutal fire will occur in a nightclub in Europe near the beginning of December costing the lives of close to 100 people.
A large ship will sink in or near Indonesia in April under “strange” circumstances. Many lives will be lost, needlessly.
A 737 Airplane will crash into the Ocean near Malaysia in December. No survivors.
A huge explosion will occur at an oil refinery the week of October 12th.
Less than a dozen miners will be trapped in a partially collapsed mine in December 2008. I believe and hope that all will be saved and will escape with minor injuries.
In entertainment:
Paris Hilton will thwart a kidnapping attempt in early December. A threat will be made on Bill Gates.
Britney Spears, in the face of mounting personal difficulties, will make a remarkable effort to get straightened out.
Katie Holmes will become pregnant in Spring.
Pamela Anderson will divorce… and… remarry in 2008!
Prince William and Kate Middleton will become engaged, snub tradition and marry in the summer.
Ben Mulroney will marry Jessica Brownstein in the fall of 2008.
Medium John Edward will be admitted to a psychiatric hospital for hearing voices in his head. Seriously.
Oprah Winfrey will announce wedding in Spring.
Watch for surprise appearances of Tina Turner in concert creating a sensation for her energy, youth and drive.
